Last of the Winter

These last few winter trees were taken at the same place near my local City in February and since spring is a matter of weeks away and the first signs are already showing I'm putting these up. All the pictures from now will depict the first signs of Spring. Iv noticed the Hazel has its pussy willow and the Elders are showing their buds, so its time to take the camera out again.

Winters End

Soon, these trees will change and i look forward to capturing their Spring attire. Another tree from my neighbourhood, this one is situated in an alley that's opposite my home, and boy this trees Spring attire is breath taking beautiful. Tomorrow I'm heading to a big park with lots of ancient Oaks, some even have home makers within them.

Dwellings

The one thing that attracts me to trees without their leaves on in the winter months, is how you are able to see the vast amounts of bird dwellings. There are so many, and i love guessing which bird made which nest. This particular tree was taken in St. James Park. I often see a couple of Ravens sitting in this tree, so i wonder if this nest has been made by them and used year after year.
